WHAT WE DO

Control Room Design for the GCC

Control room design render by Oculus: operator consoles in front of a video wall, with acoustic wall panels and indirect lighting

Industrial Control Room Design, Delivered Locally

We are the design authority for refinery, plant and utility control rooms. In the GCC we deliver with our regional partner MCPM, from offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah and Riyadh.

A well-designed control room costs less at the start than fixing a poorly designed one later.

Codes and standards

We design with reference to ISO 11064, EEMUA 191 and 201, ISA-18.2, ISA-101 and IOGP 454. GCC fire, building and cyber codes change often, so we confirm the edition in force in each state, and your own specifications, before design starts.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries do you cover?

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, with MCPM, and all of Southern Africa. See our pages for the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Do you have an office in the GCC?

We work from MCPM’s offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah and Riyadh, and travel for surveys, workshops and supervision.

Do you supply the consoles and video wall?

In the GCC, no. We design and specify; approved local suppliers supply and install.

Can you work under our EPC?

Yes. We often join a project team as the control room design specialist.

When should we bring you in?
